What Echoiastro Actually Does
Echoiastro is an event planning and design studio based in Nakuru, Kenya. We plan, design, and produce corporate events, private celebrations, and weddings — handling everything from initial concept development to supplier negotiation, decor production, on-site coordination, and post-event debrief. In plain terms: you tell us what the event needs to feel like, and we make that happen without you having to chase a single supplier or second-guess a single decision. We serve individuals, families, and organisations across the Rift Valley region, with a particular concentration of clients in Nakuru, Naivasha, and Nairobi. Our work ranges from intimate 30-guest dinners to multi-day corporate retreats and gala dinners for 400-plus attendees. We do not operate as a venue or as a catering company — we are the coordinating layer between you and all of those providers, and we take full accountability for how they perform on your day.
How We Work — And What We Won't Promise
Since founding in 2018, the Echoiastro team has produced over 140 events across Kenya. Our core team of eight planners, designers, and coordinators works from our Nakuru studio, and we bring in a trusted network of freelance specialists — photographers, florists, AV technicians, live entertainers — on a project basis. Every event gets one named lead planner who is your single point of contact from first call to final invoice. We are direct about what we don't control: venue availability, weather for outdoor events, and third-party supplier performance outside our network are factors that can shift despite careful planning. When they do, our job is to have a tested contingency in place — which we always build into the event plan before you approve it. We don't take on more events in a given month than we can give our full attention to, which is why our capacity is intentionally limited. If your date is available, we will tell you immediately; if it isn't, we will say so honestly rather than overcommit.
